Last week during the 4th of July holiday the results came in for the winners of the 2013 U.S. Beer Open Championship. The Florida Beer Company walked away with a few medals in time to celebrate for the 4th! Here is some information on the U.S. Beer Open Championships :
“Breweries from around the world sent in more than 2500 beers representing 68 different categories for the 2013 U.S. Open Beer Championship, the only brewery competition to include professional breweries and award-winning home-brewers. Judges from England, Canada and the United States announced the winners this week, noting that “The Dairy State” could earn a new moniker, “The Beer State,” based on how well Wisconsin beers fared in the national event. The oldest brewery in the United States and the oldest brewery in the world also medaled.” – U.S. Beer Open Championship

The news comes at a great time for our company, with the new facility nearly completed, It’s a great feeling to win two medals and bring some love back to Florida!
