Recently opened this hotel, owned in partnership with Marriott and Bern’s Steakhouse, is a food and drink lovers paradise. Epicurean means “Devoted to the pursuit of sensual pleasure, especially to the enjoyment of good food and comfort” and this hotel exudes this very definition in every aspect.

Our dinner features a beer tasting and food pairings 101 in the Epicurean theater followed by a 6 course meal in the main ballroom, paired and infused with out FBC favorites! We will also be featuring our brand new limited release Florida Sweet Stout and our 321 White IPA.

FBC “Blasts Off” with Two New Brews!

As we get settled into our new home in Cape Canaveral, we have been busy coming with some new brew ideas for our amazing FBC fans. With our brand new state of the art brew house, our new brew staff and our expanded fermentation space, we have room to play and come up with some fun and exciting styles for the new year. Our two new brews out the gate are: 321 White IPA and Florida Sweet Stout.

To commemorate our move to the Cape and our newly refurbished buildings past, we decided to make 321 White IPA. Coming in at 6% ABV,  this brew combines an American-Style Indian Pale Ale with an American-Style Wheat Beer. This beer features refreshing floral aromas, herbaceous hop notes, delightful undertones of orange and grapefruit combined with mellow malt body and a subtle smoothness imparted by the un-malted wheat. Let your taste buds blast off with this new addition to the FBC family, available now til May on draft at your favorite craft beer tap-room.

The next new beer is a part of our limited release series. This series will focus on unique styles of beers that are either insanely hopped, clean classics or anything barrel aged or imperial.  Our first release  in this series  is our Florida Sweet Stout, coming in at 4.3%. This highly “sessionable” and full flavor brew is  a full-bodied stout which incorporates lactose and sugar additions throughout the process in order to achieve a smooth light residual sweetness on the palate. The addition of chocolate malt produces a strong chocolate, darkened fruit aspect during tasting and also lends to the near pitch black color. There is a light hop addition to round out the brew. This beer is fermented with lager yeast producing a non-existent ester profile which can be found in other stouts. This beer will finish dry and clean and not too heavy. Available on draft ONLY for a limited time.

These new brews show the new direction that FBC is going. We are making an array of styles that are unique, not made here locally and are at a higher production quality, due to our state of the art brewhouse. We will be releasing a calendar of our releases very soon! So look for these two new brews at you local craft tap houses!
